UBC Pride Collective

The AMS-run Pride Collective provides resources, education, and social services related to dealing with sexual and gender diversity. It is targeted specifically towards the UBC community (including students, post docs, staff, and faculty). Their resource page provides links to UBC/AMS specific groups, Vancouver community groups, sexuality, trans and gender, academic and bibliographic resources, health and medical care, and more.

How to access the Pride Collective:

You can also stop by the pride lounge in person. It's located in the Nest, inside the Resource Groups Centre (room 2103).

Or, send them an email at prideubc@gmail.com

This initiative is run by botany and zoology grad students and faculty with the goal of providing better mental health support to grad students. We host stress-relieving events, wellness workshops, provide access to teaching faculty mentors, and advocate for your mental wellness to the departments. Find out more here.
