UBC Centre for Accessibility

This centre exists to support students with a diversity of accessibility needs, including disabled, chronically ill, and neurodivergent students, as well as students with mental illness. They can assist in different ways, from giving access to quality speech-to-text software and ergonomic office equipment to improving the context in which students write exams. Registration with the Centre for Accessibility does not go on your transcript and your department and supervisor will not be informed unless you wish to tell them.

How to access the UBC Centre for Accessibility:

Call, email, or go in person to get started with a case-worker. You will need to provide documentation regarding what you need assistance with.

They are located at Student Services- Brock Hall, 1874 E Mall, Vancouver, BC V6T 1Z1

You will be assigned someone to help follow your situation and make sure you are being accommodated.
